Hussein Chalayan

Hussein Chalayan premiered his new collection for spring 2008 in Paris during October. To part with the traditional live catwalk he chose to screen a film shot and produced by the iconic fashion photographer Nick Knight. Moritz Waldemeyer participated in this new collection with high tech wizardry, in the form of hundreds of servo motor driven lasers. These lasers are integrated in the garments, illuminating the Swarovski crystals and extending the dresses visually into space.
